About Rascal
 Rascal is a 7 lb. naturally hairless "African Sand Dog" and is the 4th in the Ugly Dog Dynasty to have won the dubious title of "World's Ugliest Dog". Dane Andrews, Rascal's owner, has been showing and doing TV and print with his Ugliest Dogs for the last 33 years.
"The World's Ugliest Dog", with his Master Dane, has appeared on countless TV shows including: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jane Pauley Show, ET's Insider, the View, 5 Animal Planet shows and counting, Last Call with Carson Daly; and many world-wide print publications, including Us magazine, National Enquirer, In Touch, People, and many others.
About Dane Andrews
Dane holds a degree in TV/Film telecommunications. While going to school he became a Cable Caster doing the live on-air news and information for Cable TV-3 and also CCN.
Later Dane was the studio manager, director, and taught some of the TV 101 workshops. Dane started Tri-D Film & Video Productions in association with Total Entertainment News (TEN). Dane interviews various Celebrities for such shows as Extra, Inside Edition, Access Hollywood, E!, ET and previously shows like American Journal, Hard Copy, Real TV, 20/20 and National Enquirer Uncovered.
Dane is producing the documentary film "The Ugliest Dog" that already has around 30 celebrity cameos, inc: Dr. Phil, Robin Williams, Ray Romano, Cheech & Chong, Lani Anderson, former Vice President, Dan Quayle, Joe Thiesman, Kevin Nealon, Pam Anderson, and many more big names.
Dane holds the patent on Rascal's Trademark Hot Dog leash and will be coming out with a new leash line with sales to help animal rescue. His future hopes are to start a foundation for animal rescue. The monies would go to help to more needy shelters and perhaps private housing of in-need animals while they wait to be placed in loving homes.
